A Revealing Rainfall ~ Make Do Repairs Not Enough

This picture was taken just after the dead lower branches of the pine trees near this tall shed were pruned during the Summer. The branch in the foreground has been cleared away now. The pruning left a nice open area around the shed. It had previously been a bit difficult to work around the side of the shed. This certainly makes the area cleaner and easier to maintain.

The constant rainfall this week has revealed that the make-do repairs done by Mr. Fixit on the roof of this green shed were not working to keep the water from leaking into the inside. A call has been put in to the person who we hope will strip all the shingles, make repairs on the roof and put new shingles onto this vintage shed which we acquired for free a few years ago. Up until now it has been a nice dry two story storage shed.
