A Trip on Country Roads to an Antique Store
This afternoon we took the 1979 Oldsmobile and went to Parkman, Ohio. There is a large antique mall in that town but we found nothing to our liking and left empty handed. We don't need more stuff but it was fun to look around. Having a destination when warming up the car to circulate the oil is always a better idea.
There were isolated pockets of color in the leaves. The maples are showing the most changes of color. It will be another 7 to 10 days before the peak Fall colors are reached in our area. We do like to take trips around the back roads to see the beauty. The trees shown above are in our own back yard. The wild cherry trees have many different colors in the leaves in the Fall. The tall ash tree next to it is just starting to get a purple cast to the leaves. It will have leaves that are purple, violet, orange and gold. It is a very cool, windy and drizzly day.
